Need Help Choosing Your Setup?
If you’re unsure about the ideal configuration, contact us — we’ll gladly advise you free of charge so you can purchase the best equipment for your goals.
24/7 on-site staff
We have 24/7 on-site staff available to address any issues with your setup—from a loose cable to a software malfunction. We will make every effort to resolve the issue the same night so you can continue your imaging session. We also maintain a large inventory of cables, adapters, power supplies, and other components for immediate replacement if needed.
We do not charge for the installation or technical maintenance of your setup. This does not include hardware that may wear out or fail (such as cables, mini PCs, telescope components, etc.).
Equipment Guidelines
Shipping costs are covered by the owner. Insurance is strongly recommended.
Telescopes: No restrictions on brands or models, as long as they’re compatible with your setup.
Cameras: Any brand or model accepted.
Guide Cameras / OAG: No restrictions.
Mounts: All GoTo and remote-access models accepted, except Celestron. Mounts must operate within 70% of their maximum payload.
If you own a Celestron mount, please contact us — we’ll review your case individually.
Filter Wheels / Field Rotators: No restrictions.
Flat Panels & Dust Caps: Allowed, but flat panels must never be turned on at night. Sky flats are performed weekly before dusk.
Computers: A mini PC (Intel NUC or similar) mounted on the telescope/pier is required.
Laptops may be accepted under certain conditions — contact us first.
ASIAIR, Pegasus, PrimaluceLabs, and similar systems are supported.
Power Supplies & USB Hubs: Accepted if tested and reliable. We can recommend stable models to avoid random disconnections.
Surveillance Cameras: You may install your own webcam (no infrared LEDs). We’ll configure it and provide credentials.

Insurance coverage
Our facility is equipped with multiple security cameras, a monitored alarm system, and on-site staff available 24/7. We operate with redundant internet systems to ensure continuous connectivity. The observatory roofs are equipped with automatic closure systems that activate in the event of high winds or the probability of rain, and can also be closed manually if necessary. The structure is engineered to withstand winds of up to 150 mph. The property is fully enclosed with perimeter fencing.
We take every possible measure to ensure that your equipment remains safe while hosted at our facility. However, in the unlikely event that all these safeguards fail, it is the customer’s responsibility to carry appropriate insurance coverage.
We strongly recommend that you obtain insurance for your setup. There are many available options, and while we prioritize the safety and protection of all equipment on-site, having insurance will provide you with additional peace of mind.

ASI AIR – Seestar
Only ASIAIR units with LAN connectivity are supported (PLUS and Pro versions).
If you are using an ASIAIR, you must provide a WireGuard-compatible VPN router in order to enable remote access.
We recommend the following cost-effective models:
- GL.iNet GL-MT3000
- GL.iNet GL-AR750S
You may also send us a mini PC instead of a VPN mini router to connect to the ASIAIR. In our experience, this provides significantly greater stability and ease of remote operation.
Seestar and similar devices do not include LAN connectivity, therefore they cannot be connected directly to the VPN.
If you plan to deploy a Seestar or similar system, you must also provide a mini PC (no high performance required—older or basic hardware is sufficient) equipped with LAN and Wi-Fi.
The mini PC must have Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed.
Special Note on Celestron Mounts
Celestron mounts often lack features required for remote astrophotography. Contact us before shipping — we’ll do our best to accommodate, but acceptance is not guaranteed.
